Our 6 Month Service Guarantee means that if the specific crawling pests treated during your initial service return within 180 days, Melbuzz Pest Control will provide necessary re-treatments to the affected areas only, at no additional cost.
This guarantee reflects our commitment to professional pest management and long-lasting results when treatments are applied correctly and guidelines are followed.
Pests Not Covered by the Guarantee
The 6 Month Pest Free Guarantee does NOT apply to:
- Flying insects
- Jumping insects
- Wood-destroying organisms (including termites)
- Bed bugs
- Wood borers
- Wildlife or rodents
⚠️ Important note:
Our treatments may still be effective against non-covered pests if they come into direct contact with the treated surfaces, but they are not included under the guarantee.
How Our Treatment Works
Our pest control treatments use professional-grade insecticides that work through contact exposure.
This means:
- Crawling pests are affected when they walk across treated areas
- Residual protection continues over time
- Pest populations gradually decline after treatment.
Because of this process, immediate elimination of every insect is not always instant, and this is completely normal.
The 10–14 Day “Settling Period”
After treatment, please allow 10 to 14 days for the insecticide to reach maximum effectiveness.
During this period:
- You may notice lethargic, slow-moving, or dying pests
- Occasional sightings are normal
- This does not indicate treatment failure
The product continues working as pests come into contact with treated surfaces.
Terms & Conditions of the 6 Month Pest Free Guarantee
To keep the guarantee valid, the following conditions must be met:
01. Cooperation & Sanitation
Clients must follow all sanitation and structural recommendations provided by our technician, such as:
- Reducing clutter
- Fixing water leaks
- Sealing pest entry points
- Failure to maintain these standards may void the guarantee.
2. Existing Infestations Only
The guarantee applies only to the existing pest population treated during the initial service.
It does not cover new infestations caused by:
- Used furniture
- Luggage
- Incoming deliveries or materials after treatment
3. Access for Follow-Up Treatments
Clients must provide reasonable access to the property for inspections or re-treatments if required. Re-treatments are performed on infected areas only, not full-property treatments.
4. Pest Coverage Is Limited
Only the pests listed on your service order are covered. Any additional pests must be treated under a separate service agreement.
